Week of well-being 2018

The annual Week of well-being is back on campus 29.10.–2.11.2018.

The Week of Well-being is an eventful week organized by the University of Vaasa and the Student Union for the whole university community. The event schedule is free of charge and designed for both students and university staff members. The week’s theme in 2018 is physical well-being. Follow the week's Facebook event!

Week of Well-being schedule

ALL WEEK LONG

  • Free trial of the University Sports Services – all sports are available for free and without the Sports Sticker during the Week of Well-being! Check out the Sports Services web site and Facebook page.
  • Wasa Sports Club (in Palosaari) and Ladies Club & Spa (centre) gym and group exercises are available for free for students and university staff members MON-FRI 8-21, SAT 10-18 and SUN 12-21.
  • Restaurant Erkki on campus has a vegetarian theme menu all week
  • Daily tip - ”Nutrition myths”
  • Drop-in ergonomy workshop in the Tritonia Vuokko cabinet MON-FRI 8–17
  • Sports showcases and demos on the campus area (weather permitting)
  • Get a Week of Well-being pass, collect two stamps from two different days to it and enter a raffle to win product prizes from the week’s partners. You also get the awesome Hyvinvointimaisteri overall patch!

MONDAY 29.10.

  • 18:00 → Warrantti interdisciplinary floor ball tournament @Ruutikellarintie 2 (Vamia) – Come see the matches and cheer on your team to victory!
